What about a user pushing volume up/down physical buttons on an Anroid device and Volumio App/WebUI running on the device react according to this input?

That would improve the Volumio user experience on a smartphone, because nowadays controlling Volumio’s volume on Android is a multistep process … not much user friendly.

I don’t know if it’s even possible to let a web page handle such an input, but I’d really enjoy this feature :slight_smile:

You can do that with the Volumio Android app. This is not possible if you use it via browser :wink:

Beh, diciamo … well, kinda; I’m not the first pointing out the volume slider doesn’t work as it should on the App either … or am I?

Just updated to ver.2.526
The volume slider now works ok on both web UI and Android App. Nice!
