Hi
I’m making a little project and have a class d amp with rca line in and 4 rca stereo outs.
Does anyone know of a simple way to connect headphones to the 4 rca outs please?
Amp is like in picture, how to simply and cheaply connect headphones to these rca out?
I don’t think it’s a good idea… The output of such amp is designed to drive loudspeakers. It can easily output 2x20w (or more depending the model). An headphone supports only mW…
And other points, not sure it supports to joint the cold point (black connector).
You’d better buy an amp with a headphone output. Or an headphone amp.
But what I think…
Thanks for the reply bud, I do have a cheap no name chip headphone amp but it’s 3.5mm in and I was concerned the sound quality wouldn’t be as good as the rca input?
I can’t tell you how your amp is good (or bad), but there’s is no link between connector format and sound quality.
I’ve always wondered that fact but never found the answer, thank you Boss, much appreciated!
