Hi !

Volumio it’s a great project to play muisc from a nas but the problem is when you would like to play the sound of youtube or other service you can’t do that…

After a longtime of reschearch i have found on the Google play a app to stream the sound output of a Android phone with upnp or Airplay you must have a rooted device but it’s work very vell with airplay of volumio (didn’t work with the upnp… )

It’s not free (6 USD i think) but it’s a good solution.

I accidentally found this app when Bubbleupnp failed to stream via allcast. Hadn’t seen this post until now, but I agree completely. As long as you have apps that can stream media - google play etc, or apps the access your nas drive, allstream will stream it to volumio.

You forgot to add that you need to have rooted your phone before this will work.
