Hi All,
I have an audiophonics touch system with the DigiOne digital out. I am having no luck switching the output to the DigiOne. I select the DigiOne, then reboot, following the reboot the UI will not connect and gives ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I can still login on SSH with Putty.
If I don’t reboot I do have output from the DigiOne, so I’m pretty confident the hardware is OK, also I had an earlier build working, at some point, but I cant remember what version that was and I can find the image file.
Any advice or things to check would be most appreciated. I’ve searched the forums and tried a few suggestions but to no avail.
See below the output of aplay -l if that is of any use. This is taken after the reboot, so UI is not working but SSH is.
Thanks for the reply, as I couldn’t access the webUI at all going to /dev also gave a connection_reset error. I looked through the system log but didn’t see any new errors or warnings, but its highly likely I missed something, I wasnt sure exactly what to look for or if I was looking in the right place! I should note I’d tried reflashing multiple times , waiting >10mins on the 1st boot etc. Each time the 1st reset after changing to the DigiOne the WebUI would give the error. If I reset to factory settings (through SSH) the WebUI would work again.
I actually fixed the issue last night. The previous images I had been using were specific RaspTouch images (Volumio2_20190222_2.555_RaspTouch.img) I reflashed with a standard pi image (volumio-2.555-2019-02-18-pi.img) and changed the I2S output to the allo DigiOne as the first thing I did, then did a restart (a couple of times actually just to confirm the WebUI was still working). I then installed the touch plugin and did a restart. the system now seems stable.
It seems odd that changing the I2S settings would knock out the web UI but that seems to be what happened.
Audiophonics should have helped you since you were using a customized volumio image made by them (which was buggy, as in ordinary volumio everything works fine)…
