Yep, very nice… but i am a diy fanatic [emoji38]
Anyway… i think that my amp name will be “Elvis”
Another little step… a box from hifi2000, Galaxy Maggiorato gx 288…
Next step will be remove the Volt dc jack in and solder this one…
Another little step with this small wonder:
as you can see is the Allo stepped attenuator that will replace the volume pot of my Volt +.
This job seems simple to do…and i will post some picture…
The attenuator will improve my Volt S. Q. ? Good question, I expect an improvement and I am curious to hear how much…
Next two week ill use Volt every day to sound same test audio files…
After that i will switch to the attenuator… stay tuned if you are curious
Hi Volumio boys…
I want to apologize with Allo…
I have not yet installed the stepped attenuator due a health problem (nothing serious).
I can not wait to put the iron down…
Soon a little review of the attenuator…
Does anyone have any comments regarding the amount of force required to rotate the steps of Allo’s Stepped Attenuator?
Is it much like a regular switch requiring more effort than a higher cost unit i.e. Goldpoint?
Ultimately, I like to know how it compares on the force of rotation from the Allo unit versus something similar like a DACT type, thanks.
