Allo Boss2 Player Volumio 3.661 not playing Tidal @ 176.4 Khz 24 bit

Hello,

I have an issue when playing at 176.4 kHz 24 bit with Tidal. No sound at all (like in mute), next song or previuos one plays nice in the playlist.

My player is Allo Boss2 with Volumio 3.661 and plays nice everything else, even at higher frecuency 192 kHz 24 bits or lower 44.1 kHz 16 bits.

In case you want to test the song is “Oye Como va” from Santana - Abraxas, maybe could be others at the same frequency and bit sampling.

Looks like the BOSS driver does not support this frequency. I recommend to enable resampling to 192k then

Yepp, that track works well on my Rivo to Rockna DAC at 176.4/24… :slight_smile:

Thanks for your support and suggestion.

Using Dop instead of Direct, but it didn’t work either.

I make a new system compiling everything from zero, last Debian image and last Upmpdcli, and BubbleUPnP app, but same results.

The whole album (Abraxas) is in 176.4 kHz so not way to be played in H mode in AlloBoss2.

Good news is also available in Flac 44.1 kHz and 16 bits, so no problem at all.

I will communicate with Allo team and make then know.

That’s nice, it plays in my USBBridge Sig with TANCHJIMSPACE DAC without any issue…:slight_smile:
