Add Volumio players to ios/android App by IP address

For various reasons I run my Volumio players, other multi-media and IOT devices on a VLAN. The Volumio iOS app fails to detect the Volumio players, presumably because they are on a different subnet. It would be great to be able to manually add the IP addresses to the Volumio iOS app.

That is why I am requesting a new feature.

The app is rendered entirely useless because the detection fails. A facility to bypass the detection, by typing in an IP or host name manually, would allow the app to be used across VLANs.

I have the same issue. All my multimedia devises are in a extra network. So i need a way to manually specify the IP address. What is the problem to add this functionality?

There really should be an option to add new player by specifying IP address. E.g. with Volumio in an isolated IOT vlan that is still accessible by devices in another vlans.
