Accented characters not being displayed (Tidal Connect)

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 2.882
Hardware: Pi 3B
DAC: iFi Zen v2

I’m not sure if this is a problem of Tidal or Volumio, but Artists, Albums, etc. with accented characters are not being displayed (TV connected to hdmi out). The characters are just skipped.
They ARE being displayed correctly when using a PC to connect to volumio.local, so I guess it’s Raspberry Pi problem(??)

EDIT: Now it’s working. Very weird. I did not change anything. I’ll try some more accented titles to see if it stays fixed.

EDIT2: Back to not working. Neither PC nor TV display now.

Same issue here on a Pi4. Is anyone from the development team aware?

Yeah it’s a known issue. It’s on our backlog to be fixed, but at the moment very low priority…
