Hi,
after latest update the streaming issues with webradio seem to be resolved. But my Asset Upnp server running on my Synology isn’t found anymore. For a paid software this is becoming pretty annoying.
Hey @Vreek_Fonq,
UPnP discovery works on 3.799 irrespective of the music source.
- Synology NAS - Plex
- Kodi
- Standard Debian UPnP and DLNA
Try query “Media Servers” few times and post here the debug log link.
Kind Regards,
I am not sending my entire config.
UPNP is not showing up entirely
What bugs me more is that scanning my CIFS added NAS 5,64TB of music files, hangs on the same folder every time.
From the log i could see this happening
Nov 23 20:57:05 volumiomain kernel: CIFS: VFS: \\192.168.188.48 Invalid mid allocation time Nov 23 20:57:05 volumiomain kernel: CIFS: VFS: \\192.168.188.48 Invalid mid allocation time Nov 23 20:57:05 volumiomain kernel: CIFS: VFS: \\192.168.188.48 Invalid mid allocation time Nov 23 20:57:05 volumiomain kernel: CIFS: VFS: \\192.168.188.48 Invalid mid allocation time
With the 192.168.188.48 being my NAS.
Hey @Vreek_Fonq,
If I understand correctly, there are two issues you are reporting:
- UPnP - which suggest UDP or multicast hiccup
- SMB - timeout
Invalid mid allocation time
The common factor - both are network services. Nothing but a guess: time drift, pocket filter inspector, dynamic port ranges and list goes on.
Since you are reluctant to share technical details of your setup, which contain hardware details, configurations, plugins, networking responses, etc I would like to ask other community members to step in with their expertise.
Kind Regards,
