2.575 update on tinkerboard no dsd

Just updated my tinkerboard with 2.575 and now all I get is white noise on dsd direct and nothing on dsd over pcm.

I’m using a smsl m9 usb dac which finally played direct dsd when there was an update in volumio that saw all usb dacs properly but subsequent updates then only sent pcm to the dac even when set to direct. Not ideal, but I just played music even though the dsd wasn’t the best, but now I get no dsd playback. :frowning: :astonished:

Can anyone help?

P.S. yes it does play flacs

This means that dsd direct is working. In this new release we added new quirks.
To avoid white noise, set volume at 100 when you play dsd. Let me know

Just came back to post my solution! I see that you have told me exactly what I found out :smiley:

It’s inconvenient if I accidentally touch the volume on my tablet, but hey it works!!!
