weFunk Archived shows

Is there a way to play a specific archived weFunk show through Volumio?

example url. https://session.wefunkradio.com/show/1190/

I figured out how to add the webRadio Stream, but it would be nice to also listen to specific shows in their archive. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

There is a podcast plugin that might allow you to include these. Depends on the links.

No luck. Added the plugin and I’m only seeing TED talk podcasts and some others.
Tried search bar with the link.
Is there some other way to add a link like the my webRadio section?

You can add the LMS plugin to Volumio. LMS has a plugin for WeFunk.

Cool, thanks!
Unfortunately it looks like squeezebox is being discontinued.

Don’t know how that effects this solution but I will try to create a new account and see if it works without having to run a local server.

Edit: No joy. Not sure if I’m using it right, but I got the LMS to show up in the Volumio interface by turning on UPnP/DLNA. It looks like the weFunk plugin doesn’t show up unless you are in the LMS interface. Not ideal. Also, I’m probably doing something wrong, but in the LMS I can’t see my “player” so even if I play a set from weFunk it doesn’t have anywhere to go. If I could get that working maybe, just maybe it would be a solution. At least til they discontinue squeezebox in a few days.

on Volumio enable UPnP renderer and Volumio will show up in the LMS interface. You can also install the Squeezelite plugin on Volumio, for the same purpose. Volumio will act as end-point in both cases.

Stopping of mySqueezebox has not much impact on LMS. LMS is maintained by a different group. The majority of added value from Squeezebox.com was cumbersome already.

On top, the LMS plugin already runs the local installation, so no impact.

Thanks! That worked.
Already had UPnP renderer enabled on Volumio, but installing Squeezelite plugin and doing a reset got it to take. Need to use the LMS interface to access the shows, but I’m good with that.

Keep it funky!
