Waveshare 5122 dac wont stream

I have Rpi 4 and Btt 5" screen and waveshare 5122 dac. I managed to get it all up, I use Spotify only. When I turn it on it goes to the Spotify screen ans when I push play I get a red error massage that says “cannot stream to the specified output device” I set it up using the selection on their webpage. Not sure where to go I tried everything I know. I saw something about possible the dac is not turned on but I can’t find anything about that in the software. thank you for looking

I rebooted a couple times and it also gives me an error that the device is busy? not sure what device. This is a bit frustrating

Your post is missing information required for anyone to help you.

For the component related to your problem, provide a link to vendor product page or datasheet. “error that the device is busy” or “rebooted a couple times” is not useful - volunteers will not guess what hardware you have or search for it on your behalf.

All of the following are mandatory:

  • Storage type (SD card, SSD, USB, eMMC)
  • Raspberry Pi board revision (if applicable)
  • Power supply (brand, connector type, wattage/amps)
  • Exact Volumio version number (example: 3.569)
  • Log link - visit http://volumio.local/dev, click Send, post the resulting URL in your reply
  • Connected hardware (DAC, display, USB devices, GPIO attachments - all of it)
  • Problem description: what happened, what you expected, steps to reproduce

Missing any item means no investigation. Reply when complete.
