Hi,
I have some questions on volumio : why is it impossible to go to volumio.local on android (firefox) ? Why it works only when i’m on the raspi hotspot ?
I would make possible to control volumio with my phone, connected to my “home” wifi : have the same interface and the same features as the volumio wifi, but on my wifi.
So I would know if it’s possible to make it for android for example, in open-source :wink:.

It isn’t impossible but it’s problematical, and it’s the way android hass developed atm. Sorry, but this really is nothing to do with Volumio itself as such… have a search for “android zeroconf” and see what you can find.
