Volumio Web App or Sound@Home .apk files without GooglePlay?

Hi,

I installed Volumio on my Raspberry Pi 3 / HiFiBerry. To control it, I use the the web access of my browser by typing in the IP (192.168…).

Now I would like to control my Rasppi/HiFiBerry device with my Android Smartphone and/or my Android tablet. Both of those are run without google services like Google Play. Instead it has micro-G and f-droid.

Any chance to find a popular control app for my Androids without having to use Google Play?

This is nicest one I have found github.com/gateship-one/malp and its available on f-droid.
Works almost perfectly except that playlists don’t sync between app and Web interface

Doesn’t seem to work for me. I can’t see if I even have a connection…

Should be really easy, open the side menu > profiles > + (add new profile) and enter the IP of device

Of course I did that even before posting my comment #3. Afterwards I see nothing and I don’t know why. I miss a simple check like the “ping”-Command in Windows (f.e. “ping 192.168…”).

It’s always just worked for me, with various mpd servers. Double check your IP settings

I don’t even know what MDP is. I use Volumio on a rasppi 3. O.o

Mpd is the base on what volumio is built on github.com/MusicPlayerDaemon/Mpd

After you enter your IP in the app does it give you any errors when you go back to the library View?
