Hi,
Firstly, Hello from the UK, and thanks for the great software!
I am a new user to Volumio, which I really like, but am having
an ongoing problem as outlined below
I have created a playlist of various MP3’s which are located on my External USB
hard drive (Mains powered), and I have the playlist set to ‘Repeat’ & ‘Random’, so
that I get continuous playback.
But, randomly Volumio stops playing part way through a song.
I then have to click the play button and it will then carry on from
the position it had stopped.
I have also tried copying the songs onto the SDcard which has Volumio on,
and disconnected the External USB Hard drive, and then play the files from the
SDcard. But I also, end up with the same problem of it randomly stopping
playback.
Does, anyone know why this may be? and how I can fix this problem.
My setup is:
Volumio 3
System version: 3.378 Release Fri 30 Sept 2022 10:43:40 AM CEST
Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Rev 1.1
1TB Western Digital Elements External HDD (Powered via the mains)
SoundBlaster Play (Model SB1140) USB sound adapter
F.Y.I.
I have also tried running it on another Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Rev 1.1 that
I had laying around, but still have the above problem.
I have added below a snippet of the end of the Logfile, when the problem occurred:
---------------------------- MPD announces system playlist update
info: Ignoring MPD Status Update

info: sendMpdCommand consume 1 took 21 milliseconds

Any help would be appreciated and if you require any more information, please let me know.
