I recently bought an Integro as it checked almost every boxes but after one day, I’m left baffled with the issue I’m encountering. I have 3 RPIs running volumio, have modified system files to customize it to my taste, so I know my way around.
If I unplug it, plug it in and turn it on, the red light will become green for a bout a minute and then turn blue …except that after a few seconds, the led simply turns off and the device becomess frozen. None of the knobs respond
I was able to factory reset it and go through the setting up process…except the hardware did not react to anything. The browser could see the integro, I could configure it but it is as if, the software is not communicating with the hardware
As of right now, it cannot do anything
I searched a bit the forum but could not find any info
Well, since I bought it from a third party reseller given that Volumio does not sell it anymore…the support amounted to a single message saying that it might be a hardware failure. That was it. I did ask if I should try anything beyond what I found online about trying to update the Integro through USB…never got a reply
when the LED goes OFF right after turning blue, it means the MCU FW update process is started.
Normally the LED should be back ON after a few seconds.
Please try to remove the power supply for 30sec, connect it again and boot. When the LED goes OFF, do not touch the unit. If the LED does not turn ON, please send a system log, it is most probably a HW problem.
I wanted to follow up on your request and clarify that I did respond to your inquiry, after also checking internally with our tech support if there were any solutions. As mentioned, an RMA is not possible directly through Volumio since you purchased the Integro from a dealer.
Please reach out to the dealer from whom you purchased the device and request a replacement unit. They should be able to swap your defective Integro with a new one.
