Volumio 4 update

Hi all,
Dont no if i have bricked my volumio rivo but tried to update volumio 4 that was OTA with volumio app
And after 1.5 hour still 99% download wired connect
So i gave up unplugged it from power restarted rivo and a factory reset.
Then tried again to OTA update rivo same again waited 1 hour 99% download so again this just restarted rivo.

Is this normal for this update to spend a hole evening on update or is volumio aware on this kind of topic and working on

Hi,

Some of you experienced an issue today while updating to Volumio 4 on Rivo and Rivo Plus, the update getting stuck (often around 99%) or the device becoming unresponsive to further update checks.

This was caused by a temporary issue on our update servers, not a device-side problem. It’s now been fixed.

If you were affected, you can safely retry:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Check for Updates
  2. Start the update to Volumio 4 again, it should complete normally now
