Volumio 3 not recognizing wire or WiFi

Hello there,

I have looked up Volume 3 issues and have not found this basic setup issue.

I have been using Volumio for 1,5 years with RPI3B/Allo Digione Signature and was able to upgrade to newer versions of Volumio before. All of a sudden Volumio stops working.

I update the version to the latest one. No luck. The Volumio set up doesn`t work as expected, neither through wire neither using Wifi set up. I go back to the set up steps on the website without any luck.

I exchange my RPI3B by another RPI3B board just in case. Still no luck.

Maybe am I missing something on the Raspberry Customized Image menu? Should there be a basic IP or wifi configuration in the Image setup?

Hope you can help me troubleshoot this one. Can’t use Volumio and my streamer right now

Please mention exact version number as there where some network related problems with V3.601.

I tried with version 3.546.

Then download the latest stable version V3.611 from Volumio.com

Hi there, I’m still facing the same issue. The Volumio App (iOS version) does not recognize the device, even if it is running version 3.611. Manual setup does not work either.

Should I fill in any additional settings on the customize option the RPi Image app (see attached screenshot)?

No you don’t, have you tried with a different SD?
Have you tried to connect your Phone via the hotspot of this Volumio device?
please have a look here, but don’t use Etcher. Use Win32Diskimager or Raspberry Pi Imager.

Have you tried in Chrome? My app also cant find it but i cn surf to it in Chrome and Spotify connect works

OS customization from Raspberry Pi imager must not be applied when writing Volumio on the SD-card, it is meant to be used with RaspiOS only

Hi there. I tried with a different SD card.

How can I connect my phone via the hotspot of the volumio device?

I read the manual again, followed the steps throughly, but the volumio app does no automatically recognize the volumio device, neither responds to manual set up…

Hi there, Chrome did work too. But I plan to use Tidal. Not sure if it would work with Chrome. Would it?

I wrote the image on the SD card with any OS customization and the app is still not recognizing the Volumio device…

Interestingly the Volumio device to not create a Volumio Wireless network (see screenshot).
