Volume App cannot find my Motivo

Hi all,

I am new to the community and bought a Motivo for a month.

The sound is much much better than before. I use it as a streamer transport and sometimes directly plugs it to my power amp!!!

One question is that I have downloaded the Volumio App, but I could not locate or connect the Motivo with the App. Now I am using web based Motivo.local to control the device.

Pls offer insights how I can use the App properly?

is the device that runs the app, connected to the same network?

Yes. The device and my mobile phone run on the same network.

I can control the Motivo device using web http://motivo.local by my iPhone. Just using the same iPhone, the Volumio App is not able to scan and locate the Motivo device.

Thanks for the help.

I tried to reset to factory setting and reboot the whole thing again. It finally works. Can use Volumio App now.

I like the App user experience more than the web based.
