Voluimo can't switch SSID?

Hi, I’ve searched the internet & forums but can’t seem to find a solution.

I’m using a rp3 B+ with an IQaudio DigiAMP+

I’m new to Volumio, having set it up a week ago using my home Wifi network. I’m now trying to switch it to my IoT network, it can find it in the SSID no problem, i go to add the password, once i press ‘connect’ it gives me the the overlayed message ‘Wireless restarted, wireless successsfully restarted’ but it doesn’t switch the Wifi connection?

I’ve tried doing this through both a wired connection & wifi connection. Any help greatly appreciated.

Had a similar issue a while back and solved it by deleting the contents of wpa_supplicant.conf

Connect by ethernet, SSH into volumio using the ethernet IP address

sudo nano /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

Delete all of the contents of the file, write out (ctrl o) and exit (ctrl x) then reboot.

Once back into Volumio, click the top right hamburger menu > Network and setup your WiFi as usual.
