Version 3.429 cannot change design to classic

after update to current version 3.429, in system settings I cannot change the design any more regardless which option i chose volumio sticks to manifest.
Any hint is appreciated.

dear peer can you say what system that your using is it rpi , x86 or tinkerboard

you can change UI in the system settings, just below privacy ones
