I have a Raspberry Pi 2B (Likely to upgrade to 3B+ soon) running a fresh install of Volumio 4.069 that I would like to use a HD44780-based i2c character LCD with. Doing some digging I can see that it was possible with Volumio 2 and 3, but the instructions for setting it up with Volumio 3 used a temporary link for a required file that expired a year ago, so I was at a bit of a dead end there.
Assuming it’s still possible with Volumio 4, how could I go about getting my display configured?
