two problems: airplay interruption and laptop HDD sharing

Hello

I have just bought Raspberry PI3. I flashed Volumio as described. I have used it before with at my friends house with airplay and everything worked fine.

Now I am trying to run it at home at music plays 10-15 sec and then interrupts with different clickings and noise. However playing from laptop using Itunes is ok. I also tried runeaudio and the issue was the same. Honestly I found volumio more user friendly so I hope to fix the problem here.

Second problem is I can not mount the drive from my laptop (Win7) as a NAS to play the music from it. If anyone can help me with? My volumio sees only a public folder of my documents and doesn’t see my D drive regardless I shared it through the settings.

No idea for the airplay problem, but I wonder if your samba problem is to do with the version … have a read of this windows-shared-drive-not-working-here-why-t7395.html.

For future reference, would you mind sticking to a single issue per post, to prevent posted replies becoming overly complex. Cheers :slight_smile:
