I plugged the power supply input of my Raspi3 with Volumio into the amplifier’s switched AC outlet (my very old Marantz 1060 has it on the rear to supply the turntable) so that I could turn them both on from the power button of the amplifier.
With the new connection the wired network could no longer be used, in fact both the green and yellow LEDs on the Raspi are off, but Raspi3 turns on and Volumio starts correctly.
By reconnecting the 5 V power supply unit to the wall outlet, the Ethernet network works again.
Does anyone have any idea of this hardware behaviour? And how can this problem be solved?
