Hi guys, I know absolutely nothing about the operating system Rasp pi uses, I tried to update my all in one ALLO Boss player to the latest Volumio version but after the update it just went blank and I cannot connect to it at all.
The Volumio image came pre installed and I have no idea how to get it backup and running, I’m aware I should probably have learnt how to do this but alas I haven’t.
It’s comlpletely free standing and it’s just my ALLO Boss connected to amp and speakers.
Can anyone suggest a workaround to get me up and running or failing that a layman’s guide to deriving up Volumio again?

Just pull the SD card out of your BOSS Player (unsure if that’s as easy as it sounds given the custom case) and flash it with a previous version of Volumio using Win32 / Etcher or a similar tool.
I’ve experienced similar problems updating on a Pi with a HifiBerry Amp board attached so I reverted to 2.389 from here… (see 4th post)

You should then be able to connect via web-ui and set it up again.

Pleased to say I followed a guide I found on google and I’m now up and running.
I haven’t viewed that thread but if it’s about the GPIO buttons, or whatever they are called, I wasn’t using that plugins.
I’m surprised it was so easy!
No ‘quick and easyguide’ Needed from users either, thankfully
