Tidal doesn't always play MQA

Hello
When I play an album recorded with MQA from Tidal, the DAC (EX5 - MQA Topping) shows not all songs as MQA being played, it shows MQA every second - every third song, it also does not go to the next song, it stops after the first one and does not continue playing, I have to click on the next song in turn. If I play the same album from the Tidal application on the computer to which the EX5 is connected, all tracks are shown as MQA and it plays the entire album smoothly from the first to the last track.
I am playing on x86 version of volumio Volumio-3.396-2022-12-04-x86_amd64.
As in the playback options I have EX5 set, no mixer can be set - options "none or software)

half of the problems cleared up, in the other room the kids played tidal on the phone (I have one account) and were logged in to the same account. When he started playing there, he stopped me. Sorry for the confusion.
But still MQA doesn’t always play, sometimes it transmits sometimes it doesn’t - and from one album

confirmed, from the Tidal application on windows 10 MQA plays flawlessly, you can see volumio can’t handle EX5 or Tidal, I don’t know him, but it doesn’t play well

just a little information about Tidal and MQA, as I wrote when playing files from Tidal, not all volumio tracks can be played in MQA technology. You wrote that it depends on the DAC - because it only renders, not decodes. I have a DAC with full MQA functionality - full file decoding and unfortunately it doesn’t work with volumio.
It works with Tidal - you wrote that because the Tidal PC application partially unpacks the file, which allows you to play it in MQA. This may be true - I’m no expert, but that’s not exactly how it works in my opinion. Why am I writing this? - let me explain…
I have a program that logs in to my Premium Tidal account and downloads the songs I indicate to it on my computer disk, then I transfer it all to the NAS to my library. The best part is that this program can download the MQA file if it is available on Tidal. And what’s next? - well, volumio registers such a file in its library and can play it normally, but here’s the surprise - BO - it plays it flawlessly as MQA, and somehow my DAC doesn’t need initial “unpacking” in the Tidal application. I have a Topping E50 DAC.
In the pictures there is confirmation that it does not need pre-processing of the Tidal application to play MQA. Anyway, when I launch Tidal on a PC in win10, the application immediately informs that it has detected equipment that can decode MQA and asks if it can use it and set it as a playback source.
I believe that if the Tidal playback option is dependent on a paid subscription - then this function should work Flawlessly and Always!
I read this forum and I see that the team deals with images and appearance (pepy meter and others) instead of volumio functionality - tidal, DSD in UPNP and, so to speak, full HDMI.
If I offended anyone - I’m very sorry, but I think that the “works” are not entirely related to improving the player, but more to its appearance, which in my opinion is a bit less important how it looks, how it should work, we bought a subscription for some functions and they are crooked

I wrote that I have EX5 - I also have it, but I changed it and connected the E50 because it did not give me peace and it was the same. So I started researching what it was all about… the effects described above

Just to make this clear.
The “team” are community users, like yourself, we’re not employed by Volumio. We support or add things to plugins, created by community users for the community.
So yes, you do offend me. As you make unfounded statements on how I should spend my free time.

We have no influence/access on the back end of volumio. (Which is a good thing I believe). All paid features are with Volumio to solve/support and will be taken care off in the course of time.

I had no idea that the volumio team works for free, so what’s the subscription money for?
How you spend your free time is only your business and I have no intention of interfering with it.
For me, the matter looks different, if a fee is charged for something, it means that it is a company that offers something, no one works for free in any of them, that’s why you set up a company and set a price for a service or product. If you decided to help this company of your own free will, it’s also only your decision, but in this case - are you not just an employee of this company? - a volunteer? for example, and then comments and judgments relating directly to the company and its employees - somehow do not concern you.
Nevertheless, once again I apologize, these comments written by me were addressed to the company and full-time employees, and from what you write, it seems that they are not directed to you.
And if the tidal plugin is the work of people like you - related to volumio by hobby and passion, then wolumio should not make the use of such add-ons conditional on buying a subscription

You really should pay attention to what I write and how you draw your conclusions. There is a big gap.

You: Your referring to a team that only works to make thing pretty.
Me: I respond that that team are just community users like yourself

You: I had no idea that the volumio team works for free
Me: We (community people) are not employed by Volumio and do that for free as the majority see this as a nice hobby. Nowhere I have stated that the people Employed by Volumio are not being paid.

You: so what’s the subscription money for
Me: Keep servers up and running, Pay subscriptions for integrated services, pay salary, have the luxery of light in the office,…

Me: For all other remarks:
All paid features are with Volumio to solve/support and will be taken care off in the course of time, based on urgency.
And since when is Tidal or Qobuz a community written plugin???

This will be my last reply to you.

Dear Customer,

community forum is not the right place to ask for official support, especially regarding paid features

Official website is the right place to reach us and ask for help:
Contact Us | Volumio

Please go through our help channel and, in case you don’t find any solution, raise a ticket
We will be back to you asap
Thanks

VOLUMIO TECH SUPPORT

I posted in the section support and help, so I was expecting a reply from the section support.
Isn’t that how the section is marked?
And in the link you provide, I can’t find the contact option to ask a question, there are only ready-made answers to specific questions, unfortunately not like mine

From one community member to you, another community member, the whole board is a community forum, some people need a little more time than others to realise that
The principle here is “community”, meaning that members help each other to discuss/ solve issues and talk about any other Volumio related topics.
Ofc the Volumio Team is also present here, they are not marked as team members though (point to improve?).
Still, if you would read this forum a bit more before jumping to, a few grossly, incorrect conclusions, it would make things a little easier.
You have a payed subscription, which entitles you to receive the company’s direct product support. Use it instead of complaining here.
