This one has me Stumped!

RPI3B+, IQAudio dac, powered usb ssd drive.

Hello everyone,

I have a new issue that has me stumped, hoping someone can help.

I’ve added two new artists to my music folder, the artists show up at the bottom of the page, but their albums do not show up at all.

Folder Structure is: Genre/Artist/Album/Tracks.

These albums have been through TagScanner, so I know everything is set, with the Genre being “Rock”.

Now, if I take copies of those same albums, and change the Genre to “Rock 1”, a new Genre folder apears with the artists and albums displayed corectly.

I’ve tried rescan/update as well as three dots update folder.

here is the Log: http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/fpJAmd7.html

Thankyou for reading

Jason

Which albums are giving trouble/
I see your folder structure is not “Artist/Album/Tracks” but “gerne/Artist/Album/Tracks”.
Is it possible the same album is placed under different genres?

Hey Wheaten,

Completly forgot the genre folder, have edited post to reflect this.

The Albums giving me trouble are:
Lou Reed/1999 - The Very Best of
The Velvet Underground/2003 - The Very Best of

“Is it possible the same album is placed under different genres?”

Nope, the only time the album was under differen genres was when I did the test.
The Artist shows up corectly in the correct genre, as expected, just not the assosiated album.

Me stumped too.
I see in the logs 39 records with added tracks. Seems normal.
No clue why the albums won’t show up.

Onky error that might be related, which I doubt, but for the Volumio peeps to tell:
