The "the" in a band name

Obviously I am not the only one who likes some of the so-called “the bands”. Is there any possibility to configure the data base in a way that the “the” is not regarded in the alphabetical order of the artists?

  • Can you share a screenshot, as with my library the “the” is properly sorted?
  • What is your setting for “Sort Artist by”?
  • How did you tag an artist that has a leading “the”?
  • And your not browsing via the media servers?

Hi Wheaten,
what I want is exactly the opposite: I would like to have “The Who” sorted under “W” and not under “T”.

Hi can you have a look to have an option to ignore certain words from a Artist or band name, like:
The El La Los Las Le Les De Het

Same as in LMS, where you have the option to enable it and set your own list.
