The remote control does not work with RemotePi Volumio Version 3

Hi, I need help with Remote Control, it doesn’t work with RemotePi and Volumio Version 3. I have the RemotePi plugin and IR Remote Controller installed, I also got the original Apple A1294 remote control and I chose this setting in the IR Remote Controller settings. With the remote I can turn off Volumio via RemotePI, but I can’t control play, stop etc … When I enter the command via SSH - sudo mode2 -d /dev/lirc0 I see that codes are generated when I press the buttons … but that’s all … I will be really grateful for the help. Well thank you.

This is neither a problem with the RemotePi board nor the RemotePi plugin. Most probably the profile you chose on the config page of the IR Controller plugin does not fit your remote. There have been repeatedly reports of problems with Apple remotes. Therefore alternative profiles for the A1156 and A1294 are available. Although it is not said that your particular remote will work with it: Have you already tried the alternative profile for the A1294?

I have two RemotePi board. one on my media play kodi/retropie. I have installed on the Pi and i can power it on and off and it works. Then i have another on for my other Pi 4 that has Volumio on it but haven’t got it installed yet, just trying to find a ir remote that works right.
