Strange behavior with album art

Hi,

I experience weird behavior with Album art if I navigate via “Artist”.
I have a couple of identical systems setup, with identical configurations, connecting to the same NAS and same library.
If I reset the album cache and perform a scan, every time the result on missing artist art is different.
By now I’ve created a personal folder to deal with the missing artist, which I share over the systems.
But if reset the album cache on one of the systems and open Artist again, artist are missing, which where detected before.

What is the logic here, or better why is this happening?

Aren’t the Artist images sourced from the web?
From one of the major online radio sites, I think.
I find quite a few missing as I have a lot of new and indie bands from Australia that don’t have a presence on the online radio site that the artist images are drawn from.

Volumio takes the images from Musicbrainz.
For radios, the station image is most of the time send by the station.
My problem is that on a rescan of the local (NAS) files, the results are different. Per scan different artists are missing.
