I have a question about the startup behavior of the Fusion DSP plugin.
When I start Volumio on my Raspberry Pi 4 with the plugin deactivated, I can listen to music immediately.
However, as soon as I activate Fusion DSP, it’s only possible to listen for several minutes after the system has started.
If I try to start playing music immediately, the playback either stops instantly or is very unstable.
It doesn’t matter which functions I have enabled in Fusion DSP.
Is this behavior normal, or is there anything I can do to be able to listen to music immediately after the system starts?
This is normal behavior.
You start playing music before Volumio is fully booted, which is possible sometimes but not guaranteed.
FusionDSP is a plugin that will load after Volumio has fully booted, so that’s why it takes longer.
