Ssh access denied

good morning everyone, I have a problem that I can’t solve with ssh access. basically after enabling ssh enabled, I open putty to access by typing "ssh volumio@192.168… password volumio, and every time I can’t enter because access is denied. I can’t explain the reason because before I didn’ don’t have this problem. you help me please. thanks for the advice and support

a couple of things:

  • If you get “Access denied” it seems indeed that SSH has been enabled
  • Did you change the default credentials of volumio? If so reflash an new SD
  • Delete the file "c:\users\<YourUsername>\.ssh\known_hosts" on your PC and try again

Last resort is start form scratch.

yes, i reflashed volume in the same sd card, not in a new one, but no result. it’s been a long time since i logged in ssh, so i don’t remember if i changed credentials, i don’t remember doing it. the third point, dove trovo questa stringa, purtroppo non sono molto pratico. Grazie

it doesn’t work for me, i deleted known_host but nothing inside there is also known_hosts.old do i have to delete this too?

Then I run out of idea’s.
If the webgui is accresible, you can post a log. Maybe it shows something

ok luckily I succeeded with the windows prompt, but with putty it didn’t work for me today. thanks anyway
