It would be really nice to know that Volumio is ready to go.
Like a sound splash Ta.da!
Anyway to do this?
This has been a feature from the beginning.
The only minor issue thing I know off is that it cannot be disabled.
I just wonder why it does not work for your setup.
i can hear a “bling-bling” sound, but it ist very quiet.
A little louder would be nice.
you can switch it on/off in the SystemSettings
I’ve installed the Autoplay plugin. Then volumio is starting playing automatically after a restart.
@moscher, switching off does not work, although the UI suggests so.
I haven’t tried to switch it off. I will check it when the next time.
I can switch it on and off. Be shure to save the settings at the end.
There’s no start up sound in my system, whether I enable it or not. Might be hardware specific (?)
I’m running Volumio with RP3, Allo Kali & Piano2.1
@Axel, I start to wonder.
Going to check this in case something is wrong with my scripts.
I can’t remember it ever worked with the builds I worked with.
Ok the sound is there for me but very low. How do i increase the volume on startup? txs
I like to add: I’m also running Volumio with a RP3 + Allo Boss. In this case the start up sound is there. That’s why I guess that it’s hardware specific
I can confirm there is a start up sound with Kali / Piano. It is very soft. It’s soft on all of my setups, but especially so with the Piano. My only complaint about the Piano is the low level output. It sounds nice, but I have to turn it way up.
To adjust startup volume, Setting–>Playback Options --> Volume Options --> Default Startup Volume.
