[Solved] Web-UI says always 44.1khz

Hi, i have some flac files which should be pretty high quality. But whenever i play them, it prints me only 16 bit at 44.1khz?

I have the wolfson card -> rega DAC - sound is ok, but i would really like to have it in high quality.
I tried some settings in the UI but seems like nothing changes that.

Also, i did not find any “format” line in mpd.conf as suggested in another thread.
Can someone tell me whats wrong?

root@volumio:/home/pi/wolfson_drivers# cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
access: RW_INTERLEAVED
format: S16_LE
subformat: STD
channels: 2
rate: 44100 (44100/1)
period_size: 4410
buffer_size: 22050

oops,
root@volumio:/mnt/NAS/audio# file 01\ -\ Shine\ On\ You\ Crazy\ Diamond\ [Parts\ 1\ -\ 7].flac
01 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond [Parts 1 - 7].flac: FLAC audio bitstream data, 16 bit, stereo, 44.1 kHz, 46413192 samples
will try another file

RIP syd

works like a charm, my mistake, sorry :unamused:

Any luck finding how to get the bitrate/samples with mpc format? I do not know how to read this information from a file. There is no documentation on it, but clearly the info exists since Volumio and others are able to display it.

Thanks
