Slow wifi playback

Hello everybody,

I’ve just bought Allo Boss Player and started using Volumio.

I have issues with wifi playback although my network works fine.

Volumio seems to be properly connected to my wifi network, I can select a song from my music library (flac files from my NAS), but playback is very slow. I’m able to listen to a couple of seconds and then sound stops for ages !

I tried to reboot both the player and the router several times, but it doesn’t get better.

How can I fix the problem ? How do you suggest setting up playback options (buffer size, buffer before play, etc.) ?

I didn’t received help, but I solved my issue increasing a bit the buffer size.

I have the same problem…
The song plays for a few seconds then stop and buffering…
Ill try increasing the buffer :slight_smile:

We released a new image yesterday with an improved wifi firmware (from pi foundation). This should solve your issue, if that’s not the case raising the buffer size (and buffer before play) will do the trick

Do you suggest flashing again the sd card or updating Volumio from “system options” ?
