OTA update on Android.
Streaming Qobuz
I’m still getting the select a track from a playlist or favourites list, and it doesn’t play that track, it plays the next one.
So I have to go to the one above the one I want, to play.
This was the same in the V2 iterations.
It starts happening after a while of listening, searching, changing playlists, going back to home and reselecting Qobuz
as source, usual things you do - I don’t have Spotify or Nas set up at this point (I did on V2), only Qobuz.
I have also jumped to and used other apps, running Volumio in the background and reselected Volumio - not sure if this could be a trigger.
This is backend issue which will eventually happen on spotify and tidal as well, no matter which interface you use to control your volumio device.
I don’t think I’ve yet to get this happen with local files which might be a way to narrow down the search of the bug.

I mainly use Qobuz.
Spotify occasionally, if something is not on Qobuz, and NAS as a backup if both are down.
I’m not likely to come across it, other than on Qobuz.
Had hoped V3 would fix this issue…
To add to this, I now have a similar variant, but 2 tracks are jumped over instead! 
Sometimes I get the jump over next track before the jump over 2 tracks problem occurs.
The 2 track jump seems less commonly occuring.
But one or the other or both will usually occur every time I use Volumio.
Version 3.251. same specs as above.
Using Qobuz.
Living with this problem I think I’ve narrowed it down further - may be some help in isolating / reproducing.
I have a long Qobuz favourite tracks list.
If I keep to the top approx 2/3 of the list, all is normal. Choose something in the bottom 1/3 and I immediately get the ‘plays 1 and then after a while 2 tracks ahead’ bug.
Go back up, and all is okay again.
It’s repeatable too.
The problem seems to start around 87 tracks down, in my currently (and slowly growing) favourites list of 136 tracks…
