RPi3: No sound through jack

Hi,

I just installed Volumio (latest version, 2.389) on a Raspberry Pi 3. Everything went smoothly, but I don’t get any sound through the jack connector.
I’ve plugged in headphones and several different speakers, but no sound at all.
Other things I’ve tried:
- sudo amixer cset numid=3 1
-Different RPi 3, to make sure it’s not the jack connector
-Several combinations of settings

No luck so far! :cry: Does anyone of you know the answer to this crucial problem?

UPDATE
Just now, while playing webradio through the TuneIn plugin the sound suddenly started working (I had TuneIn running for a few minutes already before the sound worked)! But when switching to a regular mp3 or the Spotify plugin the sound is gone again… Is there a log file available anywhere where I can check what happens?

What do you have output device set to?

The output device is set to ‘Audio Jack’.
