a super fast and simple question: the problems described by Michelangelo in the BLOG
(volumio.org/raspberry-pi-3-b-plus-audio-review/) have been solved?
I would love to buy the new RPI3 B+ and obviously use it with Volumio

Archimago reported the same issue in a blog post today - he was using piCorePlayer.

Apparently there is an extension in piCorePlayer that fixes the issue, and Volumio would need the same fix.
In fact newer kernels (the ones that we use in volumio) did solve the issue and the last time I tried it was working perfectly also via Ethernet without crackles.
