RPi Volumio stops playing after switching songs

I’ve had a few instances where I would play a new song over UPnP and my Rpi with Volumio will stop playing. I have the latest Rpi 3 B+, the latest Volumio, an iFi nano iDSD BL DAC with the latest firmware for MQA. The thing is the DAC’s LED responds to changes in bitrate/format but nothing will play. The Volumio.local screen will show the song playing too. I’ve tried playing radio directly over Volumio, I’ve tried sending music from Audirvana, nothing works. Everything looks right, except I get no sound. The only thing that works is to reset my network, which is a PITA when there are others using it.

Any advice out there?

Nobody?

It happened again last night. No amount of rebooting the Pi, the iFi, or restarting Audirvana would bring it back. Only rebooting the router works. I haven’t tried restarting the iMac because the issue is also present when trying to play radio directly on Volumio, and that doesn’t go through the mac.

Other than making this all work in the first place, I have no knowledge about any of this.
