August 2020 they reverted back to v8 (in which the plugin installs without errors from the plugin store).

Currently in use Node14.

Made some progress with Buster (and Node 12 14) for the Raspberry pi, and would be good to get some brave souls to test it out!

That is great news, I finished up adding the OrangePi{one|lite|pc} devices as well into the new build system, hopefully they should work as well. Ah yes, the current Build scrips use the new nodejs v14.x engine, which needs most plugins to reinstall the node modules for this new node version. Thanks again for all your great efforts to keep these these boards supported for the community!
