Hello to all. Having been forced to retire my old sound card Audio Kontrol 1 due to incompatibility with High Sierra, I decided to buy the Raspberry P3 + Hallo Boss bundle, with Volumio pre-installed on the SD card. The intent would be to scrap Itunes, and thus exploit my music library in the Flac format. Despite the various tutorials read, it is still not clear to me how to connect the Raspy to my imac. I think I understand that there is the possibility of an ethernet cable connection, but the mac is connected to the network only in wi-fi since the router is in another room. How can I solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
You should be able to access your music collection over wifi. You need to share the library on your imac (sorry, no knowledge of Mac stuff) and then connect to the IP address with the share using CIFS or NFS).
