Quobuz disappearing from sources menu

Hello I wonder if anybody has got any ideas concerning the above?

I’ve been running Volumio on a Pi 3b+ for 6 months or so but in the last couple of months Qobuz occasionally - once a week say - disappears from the sources (Home icon screen).

System is Pi 3b+, allo digione (ethernet connection) powered by Shanti psu, output into external Dac.

Premium Volumio & Qobuz account.

Running Volumio app on android phone and Windows PC.

I’ve never experienced loss of service while listening, simply that when I go to play something, the Qobuz icon is no longer present. This is true for all devices - the android phone, a Windows PC on wifi and another Windows PC on ethernet with wifi disabled.

At the same time a separate Sonos system (two Play 1s) on wifi can see Qobuz and play from it.

Powering the Pi off and on again or forcing Volumio to reconfigure by tweaking the settings brings the Quobuz icon back to the Home screen.

As far as I am aware I have a good ISP connection, Full Fibre to the house. The router is upstairs, the hifi downstairs and whilst the Pi is on ethernet the wifi downstairs is fine and readily supports film streaming via Roku.

I power the Pi/Shanti off at night.

I’m on version 3.512 which seems to be the latest.

It’s not the end of the world but it would be nice to have a solution.

Many thanks

Michael

Hello,

I also know this phenomenon from Tidal, although it is now extremely rare for me.Once a week I already had…

I think this should be the same department.

The same thing has happened to me, but very rarely. I have found that my Volumio cannot log in to MyVolumio correctly…
Other things didn’t work either, e.g. access to plugins and other settings weren’t available. Just like if the device is operated without a MyVolumio account.
Even multiple restarts, resets and re-flashes didn’t bring any improvement.
I’ve been using Volumio for many years and never had this problem until about two years ago, but then on two devices at the same time.

When I deleted the device in MyVolumio, rebooted and then re-registered it on MyVolumio, it worked again.
There may also be other ways to regain functionality.

Your experience sounds similar. At first I thought perhaps the Qobuz servers were slow to respond when the Pi was booting up but subsequently it’s been ‘up’ and then ‘gone’.

Thanks for bringing your thread to my attention.
