12s Dac - HAT proto dac connected via 40pin flat cable
volumio ver - 3.703
playback config -
12s dac enabled
hifibarry Dac + pro selected
also ssh to edit config txt and remove “slave” from dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus as sugested
getting the red error “faild to oopen alsa”
what am i doing wrong ? thanks
The moodaudio protodac? i do not have pi400 but you can
try Generic I2S or hifiberry DAC or R-PI dac
if that doesn’t help, you can try an older version.
for example. if that version work, an update to actual version should work and is also recommend.

i have try all 3 Generic I2S or hifiberry DAC or R-PI , and i can now play it without the alsa error but no sound coming out of the dac rca
befor i do a downgarde any other suggestions ?
