Problem boot Volumio 3.616 on Pi5 emergency mode with USB

Hello,
Recently, I bought a Pi5 with its corresponding Power.
Installed PiOS on SD and USB, and was able to boot .
Target being to use this Pi5 as an audio streamer, I planned to use Volumio.
Installed Volumio 3.611 on SD card, I could get the system working and listen to some music.
Installed the same on USB and did not get the pi5 to boot, stuck in emergency mode requiring root psw or suggesting Ctrl-D that does not work. So I was stuck at that step, and could not get more informations.
I reset the root psw (in passwd) file in Volumio image file (in volumio sqsh file), recreated it and could go further and I have been able to get some logs and informations attached to this topic.
Note, I am facing the same issue with 3.616 version (logs/info are related to this 3.616 version)
If additional other info are required, let me know, I can reproduce and get them…
Thank you …

Anyway, as a beginner in this area, thanks to this, I discovered and learnt a lot of things

Good luck for the dev …
Bye

where (what page) did you get the info that USB is working on Raspbery Pi?

Look in the text surrounded

Not actually: It states to boot from USB for x64, not for the rPi. But as @Darmur stated, WIP.

OK, understood,
Nevertheless, for beginners like me, perhaps a wording like this would be clearer:
Flash .img file onto SD card for Rpi or USB thumb drive for X64 using Raspberry Pi Imager.

on step #3 is clearly mentioned, USB if using a PC
