All good here in Portugal. I’m listening to flac world stream as I type.
Edit: you could try to listen trough browser on a PC. If it still stutters, then the problem is not on Volumio, but on RP or your internet provider.
For me it plays also FLAC streams w/o any problems (also V 3.369 and also in Germany). I have had this issue from time to time when I’ve had the Rasbpi connected only via WLAN, but not since I use LAN.
Since 2 or 3 weeks I observed that in the RP plugins again (like around October last year) the track details and album art are lagging behind the audio stream.
Does anyone else has this issue too?
Perhaps it’s again an issue with servers RP is using in Europe. I have sent them already an email to I informed them accordingly.

thank you for the great Volumio plugin Radio Paradise. I’m using volumio and this plugin for years nearly every day and enjoy its music.
Unfortunately since some days the plugin shows an error whenever I try to play the World/Etc Mix:
Error
Failed to decode https://stream.radioparadise.com/world-etc-flac; CURL failed: The requested URL returned error: 404
Uninstalling an reinstalling the plugin did not help. Does anybody have any idea what’s wrong or what I can do?

But it’s only for this stream, so I guess this stream is simply offline (not sure whether “World/Etc Mix” is the same as “Global Mix”, but for the “Global Mix” it’s stated that it’s offline :-/ ).

RP has changed link for this stream. It used to be World mix, now they call it Global mix and its link has changed from http://stream.radioparadise.com/world-etc-flac to http://stream.radioparadise.com/global-flac.
So if anyone is willing to update this plugin to reflect this change…

Since the original creator of the plug-in has not been active for a few years and in his last post indicated that he is no longer using Volumio - someone with the knowledge and the time available has to do a fork and create a new version.
Thought to provide a quick and dirty solution, but it seems that world aint just not working:
But a dirty solution, when the stream is online again:

replace:

with:
http://stream.radioparadise.com/global-flac
restart volumio

I’m not using Volumio anymore but I’m still reading here. Always nice to see that people are still using/enjoying something I did so many years ago.
I just wanted to update the plugin but the new url isn’t working for me either:

I’m getting the same “file not found” message as with the old url. Could it be that Radio Paradise is stil testing with this stream?

In respect that it’s not working also here I believe it’s nothing which could be solved in the plugin
that pretty much matches the announcement you hear on the Paradise Rock mix (webradio, Volumio Selection) a couple of times a day.

The URL of the Main mix and Rock mix seems to have changed (404 error again) an easie fix I guess
And now the Mellow mix is down
