[Plugin] pirate audio

Hi, unfortunately I hadn’t received the previous notifications. I’m not an expert on this module, so I don’t know whether the headphone HAT version is compatible.

In any case, error 7789 should disappear after restarting the Raspberry Pi Zero.

It should be enough to simply install the plugin, wait for the process to complete 100% (it may take some time), enable it, and then reboot. If it’s necessary to change the pin setting, the Raspberry Pi should always be restarted.

I don’t think it works on the latest version of Volumio 4. I’m going to have to try and flash 3 and see what happens but I know this zero 2 and this hat work, and the display powers, but the installation of 7789 or whatever fails and I cannot get it to install.

I just tested the plugin installation on a clean installation of Volumio 4 and I’m encountering something wrong with the installation of the st7789 module.

For some reason, the installation script no longer works as expected.
I will investigate the issue and release an update as soon as possible!

Thank you sooooo much for testing and looking into it. I knew something had broken but didn’t have the skills to fix it myself.

I made another attempt on a fresh installation of Volumio 4, and the plugin, for some reason, worked without any further modifications.

Please try to follow these steps:

  • On a clean installation of Volumio, during the setup phase, select HiFiBerry DAC as the DAC model.
  • Go to http://volumio.local/dev/ and click the Plugins Test Mode “TRUE” button, and optionally enable Live Log as well.
  • Go to http://volumio.local/plugin-manager and install Pirate Audio under System Hardware.
  • Wait until the installation process reaches 100%, enable the plugin, and restart Volumio.

By following this procedure, the plugin worked this time without any issues!
