OK to switch off the computer ?

Hi,

is it OK to simply switch off a Raspberry running Volumio or do you risk damaging the filesystem on the SD card?

I tried the PC Volumio distribution in VirtualBox, overlayfs is active, but files in the volumio home directory do survive a reboot.

PS: I could not access the Volumio vbox from the Windows host system, the spinner kept turning forever.
I had opened 80,3000 and 22 for NAT. Are there other ports necessary?
