ok, started OVER, still no sound...no errors but no sound

ok, ive been trying this for a few weeks now, not spending much time at any one point (15 minutes here 30 minutes there)

after reading everything i could today decided id start over

new 8gb sd card sandisk class 10
RPI3
HIFIberry Dac +

rca cables out to my rece3iver

USB 2TB drive mounted and attached, new 5v 2.1a psu on the pi.

just downloaded volumio2.452 tonite etched it on the card booted, general setup, rebooted everything seems to be ok

just no sound.

interestingly enough, I put a cheap set of headphones in raspis 3.5 jack and no sound there

BUT, and this is a abig deal to me, NO ERRORS

anyone used this setup recently any and all ideas greatly appreciated

No answer to your problem (which is very odd) but your power supply for your RPi3 is rather on the low side (I think that a minimum supply of 2.5A is recommended).
