I think it has to do with the latest kernal. I think it has to do with 3.0 of SMB & NFS are required.

My think I need to add the below under the network drive option:
vers=2.0

I found another fix.
Actually Synology can support smbv3. It was not enabled on mine by default but I have enabled it now and working fine.
Otherwise can set vers=2.0 @ Volumio
The suggested fix of SMB 3.0 worked right away for me. Thanks!
