No MPD connectivity

Had no issues running this for a while now, went to load up the web interface today and nothing happened.

I can SSH into Volumio so that’s fine. I tried “sudo /etc/init.d/mpd restart” and I get the following:

[ ok ] Stopping Music Player Daemon: mpd. [....] Starting Music Player Daemon: mpdlisten: bind to '0.0.0.0:6600' failed: Address already in use (continuing anyway, because binding to '[::]:6600' succeeded) . ok

Trying “mpc update” doesn’t work, it says it times out.

Any idea what I can do to fix this? Nothing has changed so not sure why MPD would respond in this way.

Have you tried turning it off and on?

…you may want to create a backup copy of the conf file:

cp /etc/mpd.conf /etc/mpd.conf.bak

None of those worked unfortunately. I’ll just start again I guess. :frowning:
